ASOW spearheaded the implementation of the WFP UCSS project across Kabul City’s PD1 and PD2, along with Kahmard, Saighan, Ghandak, Shibar, and Central Bamyan Districts in Bamyan Province. The project strategically targeted and supported 168,000 vulnerable people in these regions. ASOW’s meticulous approach to beneficiary selection and precise aid distribution significantly contributed to improving the socio-economic conditions of these households. By providing both cash and in-kind assistance, ASOW not only addressed immediate needs but also tackled the root causes of vulnerability by providing jobs to more than 100 people, alleviating the humanitarian crisis prevalent in these communities.
