ASOW is actively engaged in the implementation of the WFP UCSS project, spanning PD1 and PD13 of Kabul City and the Ashtarly, Miramor, Kiti, Sang-Takht, and Khidir Districts in Daikondi Province. With the backing of WFP, this ongoing initiative is poised to benefit 112,854 vulnerable individuals. The project, currently in progress, emphasizes providing crucial cash and in-kind assistance to mitigate the hardships faced by the targeted beneficiaries. ASOW’s focal point is on addressing the immediate needs of the community, particularly women-headed households, with the overarching goal of not only alleviating suffering but also preventing further deterioration of the humanitarian crisis. Through this strategic intervention, ASOW aspires to empower communities, fostering resilience and contributing to the creation of a more secure and sustainable future.
