Today, we honor the resilience of rural women across Afghanistan—the backbone of their communities, yet often facing unseen struggles. Despite the impact of conflict and restrictions on their work and movement, these women continue to persevere, playing a vital role in agriculture, food security, and economic development. At ASOW, we are committed to empowering rural women through vocational training and income-generating projects, providing them with the tools to create sustainable livelihoods and become agents of change in their communities. On this day, we stand with Afghanistan’s rural women. Their strength is our strength.
