ASOW significantly contributed to mitigating food insecurity by distributing WFP-provided in-kind assistance to 101,059 vulnerable people in 6, 7, 12, 13, and 16 PDs of Kabul City. This concerted effort aimed to address the pressing issue of insufficient access to food among these communities. ASOW’s targeted distribution strategy selected the most vulnerable households in these specific districts, ensuring that they received crucial assistance. This intervention marked a substantial and meaningful support system for these communities during a crucial phase.
